    When I first sat in on the HB, I was also not sure what these meant...though from the context of what people were talking about, I kinda figured it out. In any rate, to clarify for myself, I googled it. DD = dear daughter; DH = dear husband; DS = dear son. Hope this helps!

    It's pretty common "netspeak" but as we've said on here, that is confusing if you are new to certain sites, or English is not your first language etc etc.

    So we should all keep asking when we have a question.
